Just Imagine... Less Negative Thoughts!

If, like many of us, you find negative thoughts can just appear without any effort at all, it may seem almost impossible to even consider having a more positive mindset. But I’m here to show you just how simple and effective it can be.

YOU deserve more positive thoughts. YOU will reap the rewards of better self-language.

YOU get to choose what occupies your mind.

Whilst we can certainly all experience exhausting, unwanted, negative thoughts and worries from time to time, making a small change can make these episodes

👌 Less frequent

👌 Less persistent

👌 Less impactful

Can you imagine that?!

Allow me to shift this into reality.

Unhelpful thoughts are often focussed on what we “can‘t” achieve, what we “don’t“ want to happen, what we “lack”.

What if you were to focus your thoughts on what you “can” achieve, on what you “do” want to happen, on your “strengths”.

Sounds almost too easy right?

What if your outlook and general levels of optimism improved so obviously, that friends and colleagues were inspired?

Inspirational!! It just requires a little awareness and consistency.

If you have a “bad habit”, you’ll appreciate it came about by repeating a certain behaviour.

If you always brush your teeth before bed, you’ll recognise it evolved into a habit over time.

If you tend to experience self doubt going into meetings or social gatherings, it’s no different... you’ve practiced feeling like this until that‘s “just how you are”.

Affirmations are positive statements about yourself or your life that you assert to be true. As with any habit, it just requires committed repetition to form a new reality, a new way of thinking.

Now, if this all feels a little “new-age” or “zen” to you, stay with me, and just try it for yourself, AFFIRMATIONS ARE GOLD. In the very same way any belief, behaviour or reaction has become habitual for you, so can more positive thoughts.

All you’ve got to do is pick your affirmation/s and commit to repeating it/them, with meaning and intention (preferably in front of a mirror 😉), every single day.

🔥 Though these times are difficult, they are only a short phase of life
